Frequently Asked Questions
What types of therapy do you offer?
I provide individual therapy for kids (6+), teens, young adults, and adults, as well as couples and family therapy. Sessions are offered virtually or through walk-and-talk therapy, depending on your preference and needs.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can reach out by phone, text, or email to schedule a consultation or session.
What are your fees and do you accept insurance?
My standard fee is $175 per session. I do offer a sliding fee scale for those who qualify. Currently, I am not accepting insurance but am working toward credentialing. I’m happy to provide superbills so you can submit claims for possible reimbursement.
What is walk-and-talk therapy?
Walk-and-talk therapy is a session held outdoors while walking together. It combines traditional therapy with the benefits of movement and nature to help you feel more relaxed and open during our work together.
How long is a typical session?
Sessions are usually 50-60 minutes long, unless otherwise discussed.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a fee.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes. Confidentiality is a core part of therapy. There are some exceptions required by law, which I will review with you during our first session.
Can I bring my child or teen to virtual sessions?
Virtual therapy is available for clients age 13 and older. For younger children, in-person or walk-and-talk sessions are recommended to ensure the best therapeutic experience.
What if I’m not sure therapy is right for me?
Scheduling an initial consultation is a great way to explore your questions and see if we’re a good fit. Therapy is a collaborative process, and my goal is to create a supportive space tailored to your needs.
